New York Accounting Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll
• Manage closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Coordinate annual audit processes and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree preferred
• CPA or CPA Candidate is a plus
• At least 8 years of progressive experience in non-profit accounting
• International experience with NGOs is highly preferred
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and Concur is highly desired
