New York AML Compliance Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, AML Compliance who will serve as the designated AML Compliance Officer for its broker-dealer entity.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the AML/BSA compliance program, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements
• Set AML strategy and oversee transaction monitoring, investigations, and risk frameworks
• Partner with cross-functional teams to design AML controls for new products and lead regulatory interactions

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of AML/BSA compliance experience, including leadership roles in regulated financial institutions
• Deep expertise in BSA/AML, SEC, and FINRA regulatory requirements
• Experience owning or shaping an AML program at scale
• Proven ability to lead regulatory exams and audits
• ACAMS or similar certification strongly preferred
