New York Bankruptcy Associate Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Bankruptcy Associate Attorney to join its national bankruptcy practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft motions for relief from the automatic stay and prepare secured creditor proofs of claims
• Manage a substantial caseload and guide support staff effectively
• Ensure timely and accurate updates to the Firm's systems of record regarding important dates and communications

Required Qualifications

• Bar License in the state of New York
• More than eight (8) years of experience in civil litigation, real estate, or equivalent experience
• Preferred knowledge of TILA, RESPA, and FDCPA
• Experience in appellate practice is a plus
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
