New York Certified Staff Appraiser

Job Summary

Seeking a New York Certified Staff Appraiser, the remote position will perform desktop and field appraisal assignments, conduct quality control reviews, and manage complex valuation projects, while requiring candidates to be located within commuting distance of Long Island or Queens, NY.

Key responsibilities

• Provide desktop and field appraisal reports according to client requirements
• Conduct quality control reviews on complex valuation reports and handle escalations
• Assist on valuation projects and troubleshoot issues with field appraisers and lender clients

Required qualifications

• Certified Residential or Certified General Appraiser designation
• High School Diploma/GED required; College degree preferred
• Experience appraising a broad range of property types in the coverage areas
• Sufficient computer skills for developing appraisal reports and effective communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft software products
