New York Compliance Officer

Job Summary

Owning Breeze's entire compliance program, the full-time Head of Compliance will develop and implement risk-based policies and procedures, engage with regulators, and lead the compliance team while working in a hybrid environment based in New York City.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs aligned with AML/BSA requirements and payment regulations
• Act as the BSA/AML Officer, operationalizing KYC/KYB processes and managing suspicious activity investigations
• Engage with regulators and manage compliance audits and examinations across multiple jurisdictions

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in compliance within financial services, payments, fintech, or blockchain sectors
• Demonstrated experience as a BSA/AML Officer or in a senior compliance leadership role
• Deep familiarity with KYC/KYB, BSA/AML, and financial crimes compliance
• Experience operating a compliance program across multiple jurisdictions, including knowledge of non-US regulations
• Direct experience engaging with regulators and managing compliance audits
