New York CPA Accounting Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of accounting, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and month-end close
• Drive system setup, integrations, and workflows for NetSuite to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• CPA designation and Big 4 public accounting experience required
• Proven experience implementing and managing NetSuite in a SaaS environment
• Experience in two or more SaaS or AI startups, ideally during early growth stages
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SaaS revenue recognition principles
