New York CPA Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Dynamic and detail-oriented, the full-time New York CPA Accounting Manager will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with GAAP and internal policies while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the close process for assigned areas and prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Analyze technical accounting areas related to digital assets and provide insightful commentary on financial statement trends
• Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Legal, and Operations teams to support business initiatives and ensure proper accounting treatment

Required qualifications:

• An undergraduate degree in accounting, economics, finance, or a related field
• 5-7 years of accounting experience, with Big 4 experience preferred
• CPA strongly preferred
• Strong technical accounting skills, particularly with digital assets or fintech
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and ownership of complex areas
