New York CPA Financial Manager
Job Summary
Managing SEC reporting staff, the full-time Senior Financial Reporting Manager will prepare and review public filings, oversee adherence to reporting requirements, and collaborate with investor relations, all while working remotely from New York City.
Key responsibilities
- Manage SEC reporting staff to ensure compliance with reporting requirements and timelines
- Prepare and review all public filings including 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K, while managing the SEC process
- Communicate with external and internal auditors regarding financial reporting matters and assist in the audit of financial statements
Required qualifications
- CPA with a minimum of 8 years of public accounting and/or public company SEC reporting experience
- Solid knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, SEC regulations, and XBRL
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to research updates to reporting standards
- Preferred experience in the banking industry
- Experience with Workiva system is preferred
