New York CPA Manager
Job Summary
To support a growing outsourced accounting practice, the full-time Senior Accountant and Manager - SEC will oversee staff accountants, prepare SEC audit and review documentation, and manage monthly financial closings in New York, NY.
Key responsibilities
- Assist clients and supervise staff accountants in various accounting tasks
- Prepare and review financial statements and disclosures for audit and compilation engagements
- Enhance financial processes and internal controls while developing client relationships
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience at a PCAOB Accounting Firm
- Knowledge of SEC accounting and GAAP; familiarity with Statutory Accounting Principles
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
- Expertise in ASC 606, 470, 480, 805, 810, 815, 842 is highly preferred
