New York CPA Revenue Accounting Director

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote New York CPA Revenue Accounting Director, this role will manage the company's revenue accounting, billing, and collections functions, serving as the primary technical resource for ASC 606 compliance and leading a team through the order-to-cash lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource for ASC 606, ensuring proper revenue recognition and maintaining SSP analyses
• Oversee the end-to-end billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing while managing data flow between Salesforce and NetSuite
• Directly manage a team of revenue accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience focused on revenue accounting; Big 4 experience preferred
• CPA strongly preferred with deep expertise in ASC 606 and ASC 326
• Experience managing billing operations, accounts receivable, and collections functions
• Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM and its integration with NetSuite
• Proven ability to manage and develop a team while driving automation and process redesign initiatives
