New York CPA Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support a rapidly growing digital asset exchange, the full-time New York CPA Senior Accountant will manage the creation and maintenance of financial reports, account for digital asset transactions, and identify process improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for month-end close
• Analyze fluctuations and trends in financial statement line items and provide insightful commentary
• Support internal and external audit requests, providing timely documentation and analyses

Required qualifications:

• An undergraduate degree in accounting, economics, finance, or a related field
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, ideally including public accounting and/or industry experience
• CPA (or equivalent license)
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• Experience with fintech, digital assets, or financial services is a strong plus
