Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Database Administrator IV for a temporary remote position in Buffalo, NY, who will architect complex RDBMS solutions, act as a trusted technology advisor, and mentor less experienced team members while collaborating with application teams and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and recommend complex RDBMS solutions to meet business and application requirements
- Translate business needs into database designs and functional specifications while partnering with application owners
- Serve as an RDBMS Subject Matter Expert (SME) for enterprise initiatives and mentor junior personnel
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 8 years of experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)
- At least 10 years of experience managing multiple complex projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Engineering and Ansible/Terraform
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DB Platform Engineering
