New York Employment Attorney

Job Summary

To support a rapidly growing practice, the full-time Senior Employment Attorney will advise clients on U.S. labor and employment law, draft and review employment documents, and provide proactive counseling while working in a remote or hybrid environment in New York City.

Key responsibilities:

• Advise clients on compliance with U.S. labor and employment law and best practices
• Draft and review employment-related documents, including handbooks and agreements
• Support litigation strategy and monitor legal developments to provide business-focused guidance

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of labor and employment law experience
• Strong background in defense litigation and employer counseling
• Active and in good standing with any state bar, with preference for New York
• Law firm experience preferred, but in-house experience will also be considered
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
