New York Employment Counsel

Job Summary

Providing expert legal counsel on employment law matters, the full-time Manager & Counsel, Employment will advise HR and business partners, manage litigations, and handle government investigations while working onsite in New York.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and support HR and business partners on employment law issues, policies, and procedures
• Manage employment litigations and arbitrations, including drafting position statements for government investigations
• Review and draft employment-related documents and company communications from a legal perspective

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and J.D. from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, with eligibility for New York admission
• 5+ years of relevant employment law experience in a law firm or in-house corporate legal environment
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality with a commitment to ethical conduct
• Ability to work independently and possess excellent writing skills
