New York Epic Application Analyst

Job Summary

To support healthcare interoperability, the hybrid Epic Application Analyst will analyze workflows, document business requirements, and collaborate with technical teams to design and maintain system integrations, with a contract duration from August 2024 to February 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and document business requirements while communicating with technical personnel to develop data models and specifications
• Conduct interviews with stakeholders to assess needs and create detailed requirements documents
• Lead meetings and oversee project documentation, ensuring quality standards and compliance with internal policies

Required qualifications

• Valid Bridges Certification and strong knowledge of InterSystems IRIS for health
• Experience with EHR-to-Epic conversion and healthcare data integration
• A Master's Degree or advanced clinical degree with two years of relevant experience, or a Baccalaureate Degree with five years of experience
• 2-5 years of experience with Epic EMR and/or other clinical applications
• Ability to work on-site within 48 hours when required
