New York Finance Director

Job Summary

Providing strategic financial leadership, the full-time salaried New York Finance Director will oversee budget development, financial forecasting, and compliance monitoring for state healthcare programs, working remotely within New York.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning activities for the state healthcare program
• Monitor financial performance against budgets, identifying risks and providing actionable recommendations
• Develop financial reporting and executive-level presentations for internal leadership and state stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive financial management experience in government healthcare or public sector programs
• Preferred experience with New York State agencies, Medicaid programs, or managed care organizations
• Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and executive reporting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
