Job Summary

A company is looking for a Fractional HR & Compliance Manager to oversee HR and compliance functions across multiple U.S. states.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage state registrations and compliance for employment across various U.S. states
• Oversee state-specific filings, tax registrations, and renewals in collaboration with relevant teams
• Provide HR policy guidance and ensure compliance with labor and employment laws

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in HR operations, compliance, or people management roles
• Expertise in employment laws and tax requirements, particularly in New York and California
• Experience with managing a PEO or ASO
• Familiarity with multi-state employment practices and filings
• HR certifications or payroll/tax credentials are a plus
