New York Licensed Abortion Access Coordinator

Job Summary

To support the expansion of abortion access across New York State, the full-time New York Licensed Abortion Access Coordinator will conduct outreach and engagement activities with reproductive health care providers, focusing on building a referral network while working remotely with occasional in-office meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and reach out to prospective clinical partners to assess their interest in joining the Hub's referral network
• Coordinate regular meetings with partners to discuss clinical protocols and feedback from Hub navigators
• Establish and maintain relationships with local organizations and stakeholders to promote the Hub's visibility and services

Required qualifications

• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of relevant experience, or an associate's degree and four years of experience in community engagement activities
• Commitment to reproductive rights and justice preferred
• Knowledge of community-based stakeholders in New York State outside of New York City preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
