New York Licensed Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries and financial statements in accordance with GAAP and SAP
• Generate financial summary reports and conduct variance analysis for management
• Investigate account reconciliations and document findings with proposed solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, or a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting
• Minimum 3 years of experience with general ledger systems and spreadsheets
• Knowledge of GAAP, SAP, and tax reporting requirements
• Experience preparing corporate tax returns is preferred
