Leading critical modeling initiatives, the full-time New York Licensed Actuarial Director will oversee the development and enhancement of enterprise actuarial models, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and capital management while supporting a hybrid work arrangement.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance actuarial models for Statutory reporting and U.S. GAAP compliance
- Manage multiple modeling workstreams and strategic projects, ensuring timely delivery
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of actuarial professionals, fostering a culture of excellence
Required qualifications
- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA)
- 7+ years of actuarial experience with leadership in complex initiatives
- Deep expertise in U.S. Statutory accounting and U.S. GAAP accounting
- Strong experience with life and annuity products
- Proven ability to lead multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously
