New York Licensed Actuary Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Actuary Director to manage the filings review process for their High-Net-Worth Personal Lines Program.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the point of contact for all filings related review work prepared by the actuarial team
• Lead discussions regarding state indication review and provide recommendations on policy and premium drivers
• Establish and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure informed decision-making

Required Qualifications

• Associate or Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society with 6+ years of actuarial experience in Personal Lines pricing
• Experience across multiple Personal Lines products (Auto, Home, Umbrella, Yacht, Collections)
• Familiarity with the Personal Lines filings process and CAT models
• Strong technical skills in Excel, SQL, and VBA
• Ability to interact with various levels of senior management and external clients
