New York Licensed Adjunct Instructor

Job Summary

New York Licensed Adjunct Instructor, responsible for teaching an online course on Language, Literature, and Emergent Literacy in the Primary Grades during Summer 2026 on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver course content and materials aligned with the program curriculum
• Grade and evaluate student performance, providing timely and constructive feedback
• Maintain open communication with students and collaborate with program faculty as needed

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in education or related field required; doctorate preferred
• 5 or more years of experience teaching reading and writing to children in grades K-3
• Experience working in public schools and with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds preferred
• Experience teaching at the graduate level preferred
• Experience teaching online preferred
