Job Summary
Seeking a full-time New York Licensed Administrative Law Attorney, the role will manage litigation of Administrative Law cases, research and draft legal documents, and provide advice on rent regulation and landlord/tenant disputes while participating in marketing efforts.
Key responsibilities
- Litigate Administrative Law cases before various agencies and courts, including the DHCR and NYC Commission on Human Rights
- Research and draft legal documents, including Article 78 petitions and agency replies
- Advise on compliance with the Rent Stabilization Law and conduct administrative due diligence
Required qualifications
- Active New York State Bar license and in good standing
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate Administrative or Landlord/Tenant Law
- Deep knowledge of Rent Stabilization Law and Code
- Experience with Fair Housing and NYC Human Rights Law is a plus
- Ability to handle affordable housing matters and knowledge of voucher programs is a plus
