Job Summary

To support client hospitals, the temporary Remote Licensed Appeal Writer will review denied insurance claims, develop strategies to reverse denials, and create appeal letters while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review denied insurance claims and patients' medical files
• Develop strategies to reverse claim denials and manage appeal workflow
• Create written appeals in compliance with HIPAA standards

Required qualifications

• 4-year degree or work equivalency required
• Active license as a PA, RN, NP, LPN, PT, OT, or equivalent professional license
• Ability to prioritize workload based on strict deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and tech-savvy
• High level of reading comprehension and ability to analyze medical information
