Job Summary

Supporting client hospitals, the remote Licensed Appeal Writer will review denied insurance claims, develop appeal strategies, and create written appeals while managing workflow based on deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Review denied insurance claims and patients' medical files
• Create written appeals to reverse claim denials
• Manage and organize appeal workflow based on various deadlines

Required qualifications

• Active license as a Physician's Assistant, Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Licensed Practical Nurse, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree or work equivalency required
• Ability to prioritize workload based on strict deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and tech-savvy with new software
• High level of reading comprehension and ability to analyze medical information
