To support a mid-size insurance defense law firm, the full-time Remote Motions & Appellate Drafting Attorney will focus on persuasive writing for motions and appellate cases, requiring strong legal writing skills and relevant experience.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and prepare motions and appellate briefs for various legal cases
- Collaborate with legal teams to develop strategies for insurance defense cases
- Conduct legal research to support writing and argumentation
Required qualifications
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- 5+ years of motion and appellate writing experience
- Experience in insurance defense preferred
- Familiarity with insurance coverage and New York Labor Law is a plus
- Federal Court experience is advantageous
