Job Summary
Supporting the Bureau's tobacco control strategy, the full-time New York Licensed Assistant Director of Tobacco Programs will assist in developing and executing community engagement strategies, overseeing research and program evaluation, and managing financial administration in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of a comprehensive equity-based tobacco control strategy
- Oversee community engagement strategies and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders
- Support research and evaluation activities, including program evaluation and community input processes
Required qualifications
- Doctorate degree in public health or a related field with at least 5 years of experience
- Experience with strategic planning, program monitoring, and public health research
- Proficiency in budget management, contracts, and fundraising activities
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with community partners and government agencies
- Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite
