New York Licensed Associate Attorney

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time New York Licensed Associate Attorney, who will manage the comprehensive review of legal documents, draft pleadings, and attend court hearings while ensuring compliance with foreclosure and bankruptcy regulations in a dynamic, collegial environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of conditions precedent to filing actions, including loan documents and financials
• Draft and review pleadings and correspondence to initiate legal actions, and attend court hearings
• Ensure internal systems are updated with findings and maintain compliance with applicable regulations

Required qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree
• Bar membership in New York
• Basic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control strongly preferred
• Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
