Job Summary
Seeking a full-time New York Licensed Associate Attorney with 2+ years of asbestos defense or toxic tort litigation experience to manage a diverse caseload, including drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, and participating in trial preparation, while working remotely within New York.
Key responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions related to asbestos and toxic tort defense
- Conduct and defend depositions of fact and expert witnesses, managing discovery and case strategy
- Attend court conferences, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations while communicating with clients and opposing counsel
Required qualifications
- Licensed to practice law in New York
- 2+ years of experience in asbestos defense, toxic tort, or related litigation
- Licenses in Connecticut, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania are highly desirable
- Proven ability to handle motion practice, depositions, and client communications independently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
