New York Licensed Associate Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Counsel, NY Licensed.

Key Responsibilities

• Support corporate governance matters, including drafting board materials and ensuring compliance
• Assist with securities law matters, including reporting and compliance with listing standards
• Support M&A transactions, joint ventures, and other strategic corporate initiatives

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school; admitted and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
• 2-3 years of experience in corporate law, securities, or M&A at an AM Law 100 firm or in-house
• Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with minimal oversight
• Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness; cryptocurrency or blockchain experience is a plus
