New York Licensed Associate Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Counsel to join their legal team in a generalist supporting capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and update the organization on new healthcare laws impacting operations
• Conduct legal research and writing for legal and clinical/operations teams
• Draft and review contracts and manage licensing and regulatory filings

Required Qualifications:

• JD Degree and barred in at least one state with the ability to register as in-house counsel in New York
• 1-3 years of relevant legal work experience
• Experience with federal and state healthcare regulations
• Ability to work in a high-growth, ambiguous environment
• Mission-driven to support underserved populations through innovative care models
