New York Licensed Associate General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate General Counsel, Securities & M&A.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on U.S. federal securities law compliance and corporate governance
• Serve as lead attorney on domestic and international M&A and corporate transactions
• Manage outside counsel and coordinate with internal teams on compliance and transaction support

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in at least one state bar
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in U.S. securities laws and M&A
• Deep knowledge of U.S. securities laws, M&A transactions, and corporate governance
• Experience in the technology sector and intellectual property transactions is a plus
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
