Job Summary
Serving as a trusted advisor to business leadership, the full-time New York Licensed Associate General Counsel will provide strategic legal guidance on employment matters, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance while managing a broad range of legal activities, including contract negotiation and oversight of compliance programs in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal guidance on employment matters and regulatory compliance to leadership
- Manage corporate legal activities, including intellectual property and mergers and acquisitions
- Draft, negotiate, and review various commercial agreements and oversee contract compliance
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor Degree and current license to practice law, with New York bar admittance preferred
- Minimum 10 years of relevant transactional, corporate, and compliance experience as an attorney
- Experience with governmental procurement processes and Medicaid programs
- Familiarity with state and federal information privacy and security requirements
- Previous in-house and/or large firm experience preferred
