Job Summary

Managing claims for automobile accidents, the fully remote New York Licensed Auto Adjuster will investigate facts of loss, determine coverage and liability, and negotiate claims independently from First Notice of Loss (FNOL) through resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Handles basic investigations regarding coverage, liability, and damages for auto claims
• Partners with teams to assess subrogation or fraud potential related to claims
• Applies knowledge of insurance policies and organizational relationships to manage claims effectively

Required qualifications

• Prior experience in claims handling, particularly in auto insurance
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic understanding of insurance policies and industry practices
• Ability to work independently and manage claims from FNOL to resolution
• Open to candidates residing in Northeastern states, specifically New York, Maine, Massachusetts, and Connecticut
