Job Summary
To support claims across the Northeastern states, the fully remote New York Licensed Auto Adjuster will investigate automobile accidents, determine coverage and liability, and negotiate claims within their authority.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate and confirm facts of loss for basic to advanced automobile accidents
- Partner with fraud and subrogation representatives to achieve optimal outcomes for claims
- Coordinate inspections and collaborate with the appraisal process as needed
Required qualifications
- New York Auto Adjuster license
- Intermediate understanding of insurance policies and industry practices
- Experience handling coverage and liability investigations on auto claims
- Ability to identify vehicle body parts and potential property damage
- Knowledge of subrogation and fraud identification processes
