New York Licensed Behavioral Health Advocate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Care Advocate (Utilization Review) - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial concurrent reviews for higher levels of care, including inpatient and residential admissions
• Perform patient assessments and determine appropriate levels of care for mental health and substance abuse cases
• Manage treatment plans and coordinate benefits across various care settings

Required Qualifications

• Licensed clinician with a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related fields, or an RN with 2+ years of behavioral health experience
• Active and unrestricted license to practice at the independent level in the state of residence
• 3+ years of experience in a related mental health environment
• Experience working with children and adolescents
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
