Job Summary
To support cancer survivors in their mental health journey, the full-time remote New York Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician will conduct assessments, deliver evidence-based therapy, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure holistic support for patients.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine the mental health needs of cancer survivors and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Administer individualized and group survivorship therapy protocols to cancer survivors
- Collaborate with the survivorship care team to address patients' mental health needs within their unique contexts
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of clinical experience in a psycho-oncology or survivorship care setting
- Master's or doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD)
- Active LCSW or LMFT license in New York or Tennessee
- Proficiency in therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)
- Availability for a full-time 40-hour workweek, Monday to Friday
