New York Licensed Behavioral Health Director

Job Summary

Leading the children's behavioral health strategy for populations under 21, the full-time New York Licensed Behavioral Health Director will manage care coordination, serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies, and monitor service trends to drive improved health outcomes in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead strategy for children's behavioral health, focusing on outcomes and care coordination
• Serve as liaison with NYS child-serving and regulatory agencies
• Monitor service trends and implement targeted interventions for children and adolescents

Required qualifications:

• NYS Licensed Behavioral Health Professional
• 7+ years of experience in a BH Managed Care or clinical setting, including 5+ years with children
• Experience in providing or supervising direct care to children and adolescents
• Supervisory experience within a matrixed organization
• Knowledge of state regulatory organizations and NYS addiction and mental health services
