New York Licensed Behavioral Medical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Child and Adolescent Behavioral Medical Director, responsible for overseeing and guiding the Utilization Management team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure delivery of cost-effective quality care incorporating recovery and person-centered services
• Implement Level of Care guidelines and Utilization Management protocols
• Provide clinical oversight and support to clinical staff and manage services at all levels of care

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
• Current unrestricted physician license and willingness to maintain necessary credentials
• Board certified in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary clinical team
• Knowledge of post-discharge care planning and disease management
