Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Associate, responsible for medical billing and claims management.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit medical billing claims to insurance companies and appeal denied claims
• Verify patient eligibility and benefits, and obtain necessary referrals and pre-authorizations
• Follow up on payments and resolve financial discrepancies while maintaining patient confidentiality

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a medical biller or in a similar role
• Strong A/R collections experience and familiarity with billing software
• In-depth knowledge of CPT and current coding guidelines
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Experience working in a remote position
