New York Licensed Boarding Paralegal

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Boarding Paralegal responsible for managing the initial stages of foreclosure cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and establish new case files, ensuring proper organization of associated documents
• Review loan documents to verify completeness and determine if additional documents are needed
• Input client and case information into the firm's case management system while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or relevant experience in the industry considered in lieu of a degree
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in default services, preferably in foreclosure and bankruptcy
• Proficiency in CaseAware and familiarity with BKFS/Tempo is highly desirable
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Capability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
