Job Summary

A company is looking for a Bodily Injury Claims Examiner to manage complex claims in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims to ensure timely resolution through investigation and information gathering
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority and communicate claim activity to claimants and clients
• Report claims to excess carriers and respond to requests professionally and promptly

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience with complex bodily injury claims and commercial trucking
• Ability to obtain NY licensing within 6 months of hire; other licensing preferred
• Professional certification relevant to the line of business preferred
