Job Summary

Providing spiritual care and support, the part-time Per Diem Chaplain will address the spiritual, religious, cultural, and emotional needs of patients, families, and staff, primarily through on-call coverage during weeknights and weekends, while fostering collaborative relationships within the healthcare team.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate chaplaincy knowledge and skills while conducting visits across designated hospital floors
• Foster effective communication with diverse patients, family members, and staff, and build relationships with clinical and support teams
• Assess and address spiritual and religious needs, ensuring tailored interventions and fulfilling documentation requirements

Required qualifications

• Master's degree preferred
• Successful completion of at least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education in an accredited program
• Experience as a spiritual care provider in a healthcare setting
