New York Licensed Chemistry Teacher

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Upper School Chemistry Teacher.

Key Responsibilities

• Foster a community where students are encouraged to learn and think as scientists
• Design, develop, and deliver engaging, hands-on, inquiry-based lessons
• Establish classroom rules and create an inclusive environment for student questions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Science Education, or a related field required
• Master's Degree in Science, Science Education, or a related field recommended
• At least three years of prior teaching experience in a high school setting
• Experience with inquiry-based learning in a science class
• Experience with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme highly preferred
