Job Summary
Leading clinical strategy and performance, the full-time New York Licensed Chief Medical Officer will manage medical cost trends, quality outcomes, and provider performance while working remotely within New York State.
Key responsibilities:
- Own and lead clinical strategies to improve medical cost trends across all lines of business
- Partner with quality leadership to enhance performance on key quality indicators such as HEDIS and CAHPS
- Drive provider performance through data transparency and value-based care partnerships
Required qualifications:
- MD or DO with active, unrestricted New York physician license
- Active board certification in an ABMS or AOA/AOBMS specialty
- 5+ years of post-residency clinical practice experience
- Significant physician leadership experience in managed care or population health
- Solid understanding of Medicaid managed care and value-based care principles
