New York Licensed Child Psychiatrist

Job Summary

To support a growing virtual Behavioral Health Program, the part-time New York Licensed Child Psychiatrist will diagnose and assess mental health disorders in pediatric and adolescent patients, prescribe medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and assess mental/behavioral health disorders, formulating differential diagnoses
• Prescribe medications and provide both medication management and counseling for patients
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to discuss and modify patient treatment plans based on clinical assessments

Required qualifications

• MD/DO with valid New York Medical License and DEA License
• Board eligible or board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry
• Experience in psychopharmacology management
• Valid Medicaid number in New York preferred
• Experience working specifically with children and adolescents
