Job Summary
To support a growing virtual Behavioral Health Program, a part-time New York Licensed Child Psychiatrist will diagnose and assess mental health disorders in pediatric and adolescent patients, manage medication treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and assess mental/behavioral health disorders and formulate differential diagnoses for patients
- Prescribe medications and provide both medication management and counseling to patients
- Collaborate with the therapy team and medical leadership to discuss and modify patient treatment plans
Required qualifications
- MD/DO with appropriate licensing for prescribing in New York
- Experience in psychopharmacology management
- Board eligible or board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry
- Valid DEA License and Medicaid number in New York
- Experience working specifically with children and adolescents
