New York Licensed Child Therapist

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the part-time 1099 Child & Adolescent Therapist in New York will provide high-quality therapy and support to pediatric and adolescent populations, focusing on evidence-based interventions and collaborating with families in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based therapy, case conceptualization, diagnosis, and treatment planning for children and adolescents
• Conduct assessments and develop tailored care plans aligned with patient goals
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, and educational professionals to coordinate holistic care

Required qualifications:

• Active, independent licensure in New York as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or clinical psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)
• Experience or certification in evidence-based pediatric and adolescent treatment modalities
• Strong clinical documentation and assessment skills
• Experience working with children and adolescents in telehealth or community mental health settings
• Familiarity with crisis intervention and developmentally appropriate interventions
