Job Summary

To support innovative AI projects, a part-time freelance opportunity is available for a New York Licensed Civil Engineer and Python Expert who will design computational engineering problems, create simulations requiring Python programming, and document solutions for real-world engineering challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational engineering problems that simulate real engineering workflows
• Create and verify problems requiring Python programming for engineering calculations and simulations
• Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers

Required qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related fields
• Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; experience with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or similar is acceptable
• 2+ years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching roles
• Understanding of practical engineering constraints and approximations
• Strong written English proficiency (C1+)
