Job Summary

To support a growing civil litigation practice, the full-time New York Licensed Civil Litigation Attorney will manage a caseload of insurance defense matters, handle legal proceedings, and collaborate with experienced litigators in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation and insurance defense cases from inception to resolution
• Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and represent clients in court appearances
• Develop case strategies and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication

Required qualifications

• Licensed attorney in New York State or ability to obtain admission
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation
• Experience in insurance defense matters
• Proven ability to independently manage cases with minimal supervision
• Strong writing, research, negotiation, and courtroom skills
